We've had a great weekend here so far. Lots of planting, yard clean up, and a couple sales to go to.
I bought my first chicken feeder on Friday.
No, I don't have chickens, but I have plans for it.
I also found a 1963 Ball canning jar recipe book. It's called the Blue Book. I assume a nod to the blue canning jars, because there are hardly any dirty pictures in it 🙂
I found a no-name kid's dump truck, that may or may not have spent a lot of time in the sandbox.
Loving the unicorn stickers on it.
I have a feeling it used to be a girl's truck.
I posted this on Facebook and Instagram this weekend, but thought the rest of you might enjoy it.
It's a sign that was posted on the porch at an estate sale I went to this weekend.
The best estate sale sign. Ever.
I am happy to report that no bats dove into my hair and I made it out unscathed.

Did you paint the chicken feeder? I love the turquoise. I have two of them. Great planters. The truck was a good find too. Glad you survived the bats!
Glad you didn't leave feeling a little batty:-) I joked with you on Facebook about selling me the chicken feeder, but I sure do love it! I'll be on the lookout for one like that. I bought one on our first Maine trip and we drove back with it tied to the top of car. Can you say Hillbillies?
Great finds Pam! Best, Vicki
I would have waited outside, but I'm sure my sister would have looked around for the bats.
That is hilarious! They are lucky to have the bats 🙂
Bats can be really scary when they dive at you. But they are really very cute. Glad you didn't have a close encounter with any.

Great finds...and maybe that sign might scare off the competition!
The turquoise blue color coop grabs my "heart"!! Glad you found a great sale! Blessings~~~Roxie

Love the sign. Did the house belong to the Adam's family by any chance?

It was a gorgeous weekend. I'm glad you found a great sale. It makes the work week feel better knowing that friends had a good weekend. Love that bat sign. You brought a smile to my morning coffee. Happy Monday, Pam!

Love the truck! Glad to bat got you! Funny sign!

Great finds and love the sign. I used to have to catch the odd bat in a store I worked in when I was in my teens. It helps to have a shoe store next door willing to donate an empty shoe box for the job. Glad you braved the bats -- looking forward to seeing what you do with that gorgeous feeder! 🙂
The color and patina on the chicken feeder are wonderful Pam. What 's an estate sale without bat poo in you hair? Really now.
You found some great things there and I'm happy you didn't get bats in your hair.
Have a wonderful week.
Bats?... I would of ran faster than a marathon runner.
Yuck - bats!!! That's quite the sign!!
Holy crap, how haunted was the house???
The truck with the unicorn stickers is precious. The bat alert sign is hilarious. You reckon they posted it to keep people of the porch :>)
You found some great treasures. We love bats. I know that probably sounds crazy but we studied them one summer and went to lectures and saw different kinds and just grew to appreciate them, just not in the house or in our hair. 😉
